IT'S NOT ABOUT ME....that's the core of TC Students at North Main.
Learn to lead others by serving others
Learn Biblical truths
Real relationships
We believe if students leave our ministry with a mindset to lead by serving - then their faith will stick well beyond their high school years. We believe that graduating servant leaders will best reflect the life that Jesus lived.
Our vision to accomplish this mission is to understand that this life is Not About Me. We get this from Jesus' words in Luke 9:23 that states, “If anyone would come after me, they must take up their cross daily and follow me.”
If we truly want to follow Jesus and become servant leaders, we must understand that following Him is all about Jesus and not about us. We believe that if we live a life that reflects this teaching then we can, as a group, truly become a community that; encourages each other, is there for each other and truly feels like the family we have been accepted into, the family of Christ.
We build this community through Youth Group for both MIDDLE & HIGH School students on Sunday nights from 5:00 - 6:30pm. We also have events, service opportunities and trips throughout the year.
For more information please contact Dan Hipply.
Our students begin their Sunday morning worshiping with the main body of Christ in the main worship center. Students are encouraged to sit with their peers in a designated area or with their parents. At the end of praise time and communion, the students will be guided upstairs to the youth rooms for Bible-focused teaching with discussion time in age-leveled groups.
All students in grades 6th-12th are invited to join us for a crazy fun time! We are loud and energetic as we connect through food, fellowship, games, worship, large group teaching and small group application. Our weekly lessons connect students to the scripture while using examples from their daily lives to encourage them to grow in faith, love, and service. This is a place where students can be themselves without fear of reproach or judgment.
Our leaders guide students in a study that helps them grow deeper in their spiritual journey using relevant examples, events, and scripture.
Throughout the year, we participate in special events to strengthen our connections with each other. We serve in our community, play, eat, and grow together. This is an excellent avenue for students to have fun connecting and learn great values. These events include concerts, game nights, mobile lock-outs, summer camps, and more! This is also a wonderful time for students to invite their friends to join them.
